Self Service Notary is practice software for commissioned notaries: a branded client portal on your own domain, intake, identity pre-check, booking, e-signing and qualified signatures, and sealing with a record anyone can verify. We build the tools. The notarizing is yours.
Why it exists
Most notarization platforms put themselves between the notary and the client — their brand, their pipeline, their cut of every act. We built the opposite: the portal carries your name, your clients pay into your own account, and we take no share of what you charge. The platform is the back office, not the storefront.
Who builds it
A small product team that also answers the support inbox — the people who reply at Contact are the people who ship the product. Tell us your jurisdiction and the acts you perform, and we will tell you plainly what the product does there, and what it does not.
The rules we build by
- Your commission does the notarizing. We are not a notary, we perform no notarial acts, and nothing we publish is legal advice.
- Verifiable beats trusted. Every seal is checkable by anyone, in their own browser, against a public ledger — including by people who have never heard of us.
- Named honestly. Signature levels are labelled what they are. Where the law requires a qualified provider, we broker one and say so.
- Jurisdiction first. Whether an act may be performed remotely is your commissioning authority's question. We answer what the software does, never what the law allows.
